Our goal is to strengthen the interconnectivity between these regions, ensuring a more unified and collaborative approach to delivering high-quality gastroenterological care and education.

Our Regional Meetings Workstream is dedicated to expanding the reach of gastroenterology by actively engaging with all four regions across the UK. Our goal is to strengthen the interconnectivity between these regions, ensuring a more unified and collaborative approach to delivering high-quality gastroenterological care and education.

A key part of this initiative involves supporting and enhancing the activities of existing national Gut Clubs, which already play a vital role in fostering local learning and professional development.

To further this mission, we are developing a series of collaborative, region-wide meetings that bring together healthcare professionals, academics, and stakeholders. These events will be held in partnership with established organisations such as the Welsh Association of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy (WAGE), helping to promote shared learning, regional representation, and the dissemination of best practices throughout the country. Through these efforts, we aim to build a stronger, more connected gastroenterology community nationwide.
