This event covers a wide range of gastroenterological topics presented in both oral form and by means of poster presentations on the day.
Midland Gastroenterological Society (MGS) is a large specialist society in the West Midlands spanning two Regional and Strategic Authorities - from Hereford in the south-west to Nottingham and Derby in the north-east. Conferences are held twice a year in May and November. Original research and audit data are presented in oral plenary style and also poster presentations. The Society encompasses all gastroenterological specialties with a minimum of 12 oral presentations on the day, plus posters. The programme for this event is formulated from the submission and assessment of abstract summaries.

Abstracts are welcomed for consideration for a verbal presentation - 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions (15 minutes total) at the forthcoming Summer Midland Gastroenterological Society Conference. This will be the 118th meeting of the society.
The deadline for submission is Sunday 13th September 2026.
