We are pleased to extend our congratulations to the BSG's new Deputy Vice President of the Endoscopy Committee, Dr Nisha Patel!

Dr Nisha Patel is an interventional endoscopist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She specialises in advanced therapeutic endoscopy and robotics and is Screening Director for the West London Bowel Cancer Screening Centre.

She has held multiple leadership roles within the BSG, including Deputy Chair of the Endoscopy Clinical Research Group and Co‑chair of EndoVillage. Her work spans national research strategy, workforce development, and the integration of engineering innovation into clinical practice.
