Web Education Online Associate Editor
The BSG Education Committee is looking for two enthusiastic BSG Trainee members to join the BSG Web Education Editorial team as an Online Associate Editor.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills as a reviewer and editor. You will work closely with Dr Sophia Than, Deputy Chair of Education Committee, and Web Education Online Editor and Team Lead, together with another member of the editorial team and a Web Education Online Deputy Editor. The BSG aims to expand its web education portal with clinical articles, podcasts, video content, and professional development articles.
The web editors curate new content and sections, and provide peer review for invited articles and video content.
- You should have a passion for education, and a willingness to work as a member of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills, a strong publication record, experience with the peer review process, and editorial activities with gastroenterology journals are desirable.
Application should be via a covering letter stating your intentions for applying and providing a brief summary of how you fit the job description. This should be accompanied by a 2-3 page CV including a publication list. The position will be for a fixed period of 2 years. Selection will be by an interview.
