From 2026, members will have the opportunity to vote for the BSG President-Elect as part of a new pilot election process designed to strengthen governance and enhance member engagement. This marks a significant step forward in how the BSG involves its membership in shaping the future leadership of the Society, find out more here.

We are delighted to introduce the candidates up for election for the role of BSG President-Elect from June 2026 until June 2028, when they start their 2-year presidential term from June 2028 until June 2030.

How can I vote?

Our Presidential Election process is administered by a third-party organisation called Civica Election Services, an independent specialist organisation that ensures integrity, confidentiality and fairness. You will receive a personalised email with access codes in order to cast your vote.

Please check your inbox and your spam/junk folder for an email from [email protected] with the subject line 'Voting now open for the next President-Elect of the BSG', where you will receive:

• An email invitation with a secure voting link
• Candidate information and videos
• Clear instructions on how to cast your vote
