The Birmingham Conference & Events Centre, Hill Street, Birmingham, B5 4EW
Join us on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd March at The Birmingham Conference & Events Centre for the Gut Microbiota for Health Conference 2027.
This immersive 1.5-day conference on 1–2 March 2027 will explore the transformative role of the gut microbiota in human health and disease. Bringing together leading clinicians, general practitioners, researchers, innovators, industry partners, and emerging leaders, the meeting will showcase cutting-edge advances in microbiome science, translational medicine, diagnostics, therapeutics, and precision healthcare.
As understanding of the microbiome rapidly expands, its relevance to everyday clinical practice is becoming increasingly apparent across gastroenterology, mental health, metabolic disease, oncology, immunology, and primary care. For general practitioners, the conference will provide practical insight into how microbiome science may influence prevention, chronic disease management, prescribing practices, nutrition, and patient-centred care in the community setting. Clinicians will gain exposure to emerging microbiome-informed approaches to disease diagnosis and treatment, while researchers and innovators will engage with world-leading experts, novel technologies, and translational therapeutic pipelines shaping the future of medicine.
Students and early career researchers will benefit from exposure to pioneering science, mentorship opportunities, interdisciplinary networking, and discussions driving the next generation of microbiome research and healthcare innovation. Attendees will leave with new knowledge, practical clinical insights, collaborative opportunities, and a deeper understanding of how microbiome science is reshaping modern healthcare and precision medicine.
