Chair Trainee Committee 2026 - 2028

Dr Laura White is a Gastroenterology Registrar in the North West Thames Deanery with a strong interest in medical education, trainee development and clinical leadership. Alongside her clinical training, she has been actively involved in representing gastroenterology trainees at both regional and national level, championing initiatives that improve training quality, wellbeing and career development.

As Chair of the BSG Trainees Committee, Dr White leads the Society's work to represent the interests of gastroenterology trainees across the UK. She works closely with trainees, the BSG Executive and specialist committees to ensure that trainee perspectives help shape education, workforce development and the future of the specialty.
