BSG Elected Councillor, June 2025 - 2028

I am dedicated to fostering the growth and development of healthcare professionals, empowering them to deliver exceptional patient care, and am the Clinical Lead for BSG's ambitious Project 90. I am passionate about high quality patient care and have been National Clinical Lead for Gastro on the Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) programme since 2017. I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Wirral University Teaching Hospital since 2003, was Mersey Gastro TPD for 11 years and National Recruitment Lead for Gastro for 10 years. I have previously been Chair of the BSG Training Committee and Honorary Treasurer of the BSG.
