Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria, Sheffield
We are delighted to endorse the 18th Annual Sheffield Gastroenterology Symposium, taking place at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria, Sheffield, on 25 September 2026.
The programme covers some very novel areas that are emerging, endoscopy practice points and some really difficult clinical problems. The meeting is designed to cover all areas of clinical practice, including a general GI and Hepatology clinical update.
This is the 18th Sheffield GI Symposium (under the auspices of the BSG). We are lucky to have the usual amazing array of internationally and nationally recognised speakers. We created the programme based on your feedback so we hope that the talks are relevant and will influence your practice. Enjoy the Breakfast Club, the conundrum of: is it iron deficiency or anaemia of chronic disease?! We have got together experts from GI and Haematology so that’s a real bonus.
The meeting is for everyone: trainees, consultants, associate specialists, advanced medical practitioners, nurses from all walks of GI life (whether endoscopy, clinics, or GI ward background), dietitians, or even junior doctors who fancy a career in gastroenterology or just an update – in fact anyone with an interest in gastroenterology!
Last year the delegate feedback evaluation forms confirmed a 95% Good to Excellent rating.

Tickets are complimentary. However, you must register your place via the below event page.
