Applications are now open for the role of BSG Mentoring Lead, developing and leading the BSG Mentorship programme. This is a 2 year appointment - note, a slightly shortened term as interviewing in December – the Mentoring Lead role is from December 2025 to June 2027.
This is an exciting role within the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) at a time when mentorship is needed by our members. We welcome applicants from Consultants, nurses (or similar) and trainees (must be a member of the BSG).

Professor Alan Lobo, Consultant Gastroenterologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Sheffield, and a longstanding member of the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG), has been named a finalist for Clinical Leader of the Year at the 2025 Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards.
