This webinar explores how research can be incorporated into clinical careers in gastroenterology and hepatology, even within busy working environments. Speakers shared practical experiences and approaches to developing research involvement alongside routine clinical practice.  Prof Debbie Shawcross and Prof John Leeds hosted the webinar, with Dr Ben Mullish discussing the role of research in career development, drawing on his own journey from trainee to research fellow. Prof David Sanders followed with practical strategies for balancing clinical work and research commitments. The webinar concluded with a Q&A panel discussion, including representatives from the BSG Nurses Research Network and BSG Scholarship community.
