Help Shape the Future of GI Physiology – National Data Collection Open (May–June 2025)
The second National Data Collection for GI Physiology services will run from Monday 12th May to Friday 6th June 2025.
Led by NHS England, this initiative aims to gather meaningful data on:
- Service activity and waiting times
- Equipment and digital infrastructure
- Workforce, training, and supervision
- Estates and overall service configuration
This national stocktake is crucial in supporting:
- Benchmarking across regions
- Workforce and funding planning (e.g. capital replacement schemes)
- Service transformation and strategic development
Action required
Each Trust should identify a local GI Physiology service lead to complete the data table. The final submission should be emailed to [email protected] by Friday 6th June 2025.
If you have any questions or need the data template, please contact [email protected]. Let’s ensure our services are visible and valued in this vital national picture.
