Attending this event will help clinicians, nurses and trainees keep up to date with new techniques, technologies, and quality standards. It strengthens critical appraisal skills, supports evidence-based practice, and provides opportunities to learn from leading experts. For trainees, it offers insight into research methods and potential collaborations, while for all attendees, it fosters networking and the chance to translate research into daily practice to improve patient outcomes.

Learning outcomes

• Formulate a clear, clinically relevant research question and feasible study plan, incorporating methodology, ethics, and patient and public involvement.
• Recognise research pathways, funding routes, and infrastructure supporting endoscopy research in the UK.
• Access and work effectively with research support networks, including supervisors, collaborators, statisticians, and data resources.
• Apply practical approaches to integrate research activity into clinical practice across different career stages.
• Plan and deliver effective dissemination of research outputs to maximise academic and clinical impact.

Group bookings and payments by invoice:

• Payments by invoice are only available for group bookings of 2 or more people. Singular registrations must be registered and paid for via credit card on the website.
• For group bookings of more than one person, please email [email protected] the full names, job titles, email addresses, dietary requirements, and BSG membership status of everyone in your booking, along with the ticket type you wish to book for each person. Once this information is provided, an invoice will be issued to you.
• Please allow up to 5 working days for your invoice to be received.
• Invoices must be paid in full before the event.

Cancellation terms:

• Two weeks before the event – a full refund will be given
• Less than two weeks before the event – no refund will be given
