This is a full-time post-CCT Clinical Fellow post in a busy endoscopy unit. We are the pancreatic surgery centre for the region, we get referrals for advanced HPB endoscopy from other Trusts, and the cases are discussed in our weekly HPB meeting.

The post-holder will attend four HPB training lists and will be trained by consultants who are competent in both EUS and ERCP with opportunities to be involved in advanced ERCP (e.g. Cholangioscopy), therapeutic EUS (e.g. biliary drainage, pseudocyst drainage, gastroenterostomy, coil/gluing of varices), and other fluoroscopic procedures (enteral stentings and dilatations).

There will be three endoscopy service provision sessions. This is an opportunity for the candidate to develop their independent diagnostic and therapeutic skills (e.g. EMRs, dilatations, bleed management, PEGs etc.) There will be one Gastroenterology OPD (Stoke). The successful candidate will also be participating in GI bleed rota.
