Large tertiary referral centre for patients with inflammatory bowel disease. This post is out of program experience funded through revenue from our commercial clinical trials program and with employment through Queen Mary University Hospital.

The department has between 5,000-6,000 patients across young adult and adult services with approximately 5 to 20 in-patients at any one time. The department has broad research interests in both basic sciences and clinical research with a dedicated Clinical Trials Unit in the Wingate Institute part of QMUL.The department has a track record of supporting SPR’s in both clinical training and in research with numerous trainees completing MDs and PhDs in IBD based research. Unless the candidate wishes otherwise there are no GIM or General Gastro commitments and 100% of the fellows’ time is dedicated to IBD Care, clinical trial recruitment and IBD research projects.
