Coming Soon! BSG Improvement Leadership Programme
Do you aspire to play a greater role in leading improvement in gastroenterology and hepatology services? As part of Project 90, the BSG will soon be launching a flagship “Improvement Leadership” programme in association with AQuA, specialists in leadership and quality improvement programmes.
The aim is to equip participants with the skills, networks and confidence to lead meaningful service improvements across the specialty. Designed to run over nine months from September 2025, the inaugural programme will include three 2-day residential blocks plus two online learning days and will: -
- Integrate leadership development with quality improvement (QI) methodologies for real-world application.
- Develop future gastroenterology leaders capable of driving strategic change.
- Offer expert-led learning, peer support, and a self-sustaining leadership community.
- Support participants in applying learning to their day-to-day leadership, change initiatives, or service improvements.
Staying in the peaceful surroundings of the De Vere Cranage Estate in Holmes Chapel, near Manchester, you’ll need to commit to the following teaching blocks: -
- Residential Block 1 – 16 & 17 September 2025
- Residential Block 2 - 25th & 26th November 2025
- Online Block 1 - 10 February 2026
- Online Block 2 - 10 March 2026
- Residential Block 3 - 22nd & 23rd April 2026
Applications will open in early June – now’s the time to start thinking about applying! Full details of application criteria and how to apply, out soon!
