Suitable for candidates wishing to consolidate diagnostic endoscopic skills whilst training to a high level in an advanced endoscopic field to match their requirements.

We are a large tertiary referral centre carrying out a wide range of complex endoscopic resection (EMR/ESD/FRTD) and ablation techniques (RFA), ERCP (including laser lithotripsy/spyglass), diagnostic and therapeutic EUS and POEM. You can choose either a luminal or HPB field.

The post is for 1 year renewable for 1 further year by mutual agreement. You should have full JAG certification in gastroscopy and at least provisionally in colonoscopy. It would be an advantage to have some knowledge of advanced endoscopic skills and attended the train the trainers course but not essential.

There will be opportunities to participate in all aspects of the endoscopy and gastroenterology unit including audit, research activities and be involved in JAG courses.

There is no on-call or general medicine component to this role.
