Guts UK is looking for new members to diversify its Research Awards Committee (RAC).   Terms of office are three years and renewable for a second term.  The committee usually meets two or three times a year depending on the number of research awards available in any given year.   You may join meetings by telephone if it is difficult for you to attend in person.

Experience in undertaking and supervising research projects is an essential attribute. Experience in peer review of grant applications would also be welcome.

All members of the RAC are asked to review Fellowship applications and Development Grant applications. You may also be asked to participate in the decision making for other awards.

Please send Expressions of Interest to John McLaughlin c/o Alice Kington akington@gutscharity.org.uk.
