Guts UK/BSG Trainee Awards
The British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) and Guts UK are pleased to support another call for Trainee awards to do research or audit/quality improvement projects. The awards can be for individual trainees or for trainee research networks for projects of up to 12 months. Up to 4 awards for a maximum of £5,000 each are available, 2 for individuals and 2 for networks. The deadline for submissions is 10th September 2018.

Guts UK Development Grants
Guts UK is offering 2 Development Grants to established clinicians and investigators who want to do translational and/or proof of concept research on any aspect of gastroenterology/hepatology. The grants are for a maximum of £50,000 each and up to 2 years duration.  The deadline for submissions is 3rd September 2018.

Guts UK Amelie Waring Fellowship
Guts UK is launching its Fellowship for research on pancreatic inflammation or injury. Pancreatic cancer research is excluded from this call. The Fellowship provides £180,000 to cover salary and consumables and it is for 3 years, full time.  The deadline for submissions is 8th October 2018.

Guts UK/Parabola Grant
Guts UK and Parabola are pleased to offer a research grant to advance endoscopy research in the field of diagnosis, screening and prevention of colorectal cancer. The research must be of clear, direct and significant benefit to the people and patients of North East of England, with a substantial amount of work undertaken in that region. The grant is for a maximum of £1,250,000 over 5 years.  The deadline for submissions is 29th June 2018.

Guts UK/Olympus Fellowship
Guts UK and Olympus are offering a Fellowship for endoscopy research on one or more of the 'Top 10 research priorities in Barrett's Oesophagus and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD)’, published in Lancet Gastroenterol Hepatol. 2017 Nov;2(11):824-831. The Fellowship is for a maximum of £210,000 for salaries and consumables over 3 years.  Application forms and guidance will be available on the website soon.  The deadline for submissions is 8th October 2018.
