As you are aware, nominations for the 2019 Elections closed on Monday 20th May. Participating in a committee provides you with an opportunity to contribute your expertise and shape the future of UK gastroenterology and hepatology.
The BSG operates a one member, one single transferable vote system. All BSG members (other than Taster members) are eligible to vote in the following elections:
- Council election
- Food & Function CRG election
Additionally you may vote in up to 3 Section elections providing you are a member of that section.
BSG members have been provided with a unique voter code (via email), which allows voting in the Council, Food & Function CRG and up to 3 Section elections where they are a member.
Where nominations do not exceed the number of positions in any section, candidates will be elected unopposed without voting.
Voting is important as it enables you to help shape the direction of the Society for the future, so please take this opportunity to vote now.
