We are looking for applications/nominations for the role of the BSG's national representative to the UEG National Societies Forum (NSF). This is an open call to all BSG consultant members of 5 years standing or more.

Your role would be to act as a conduit for information from the UEG to the BSG. UEG policy is not directly influenced by this forum but as an NSF member you will be able to stand for election to other UEG committees working on specific areas such as education, research etc.

The role is for 4 years and you will be expected to attend one meeting in Vienna each year and one meeting at UEG Week, with all expenses paid by UEG. This role will give you a better understanding of how the UEG works and will be valuable to anyone who is interested in getting more involved in other UEG committees.

If you’re interested, please send a short statement to Sarah Linnington at s.linnington@bsg.org.uk explaining why you should be considered for this role by 5pm Wednesday 9th October. In the event of more than one application, an adjudication process including a short telephone interview, will be conducted. The BSG is only able to nominate one candidate.
