Have you thought… about applying to be an Associate Editor?
Frontline Gastroenterology is looking for an Associate Editor. Applications are open to anyone who fits the job description, but it is a good opportunity for people to come forward who might not have considered applying for such a role previously. Please consider whether this might be a role that you could fill, particularly, if you are a woman, or come from a BAME background, or are in a flexible work situation.
The BSG aims to be an equal and inclusive family that promotes excellence in all its activities. We encourage all our members, whatever their background, to use their talents to help the Society.
The role will involve promoting the journal, working with authors, handling and reviewing submissions, and being part of the team to develop the strategy and future direction of the journal.
Applications should be by brief CV including detail of previous experience (not essential) and what you feel you can offer the journal.
Applications and enquiries to Professor R Mark Beattie, mark.beattie@uhs.nhs.uk.
