We are very much looking forward to welcoming the gastroenterology and hepatology community to BSG Live at the ICC, Birmingham on the 20th – 23rd of June 2022.

However, we are aware that many of our members are still under significant clinical pressure in their hospitals, and for this reason, we are pleased to announce that we are extending our early bird pricing by 2 weeks, until the 28th April. This will give more members the opportunity to register for the discounted rates. Individual day registration is available as an alternative to the full conference registration and please note that registration includes free attendance at the Monday Masterclass.

As a reminder, this meeting aims to:

  • To educate our members on state-of-the-art investigation and management, as well as new developments in all fields of gastroenterology and hepatology
  • To provide high-quality CPD for our members
  • To allow researchers in all gastroenterology related fields to present, share, and discuss their findings
  • To encourage and enable collaborative working and research in all fields of gastroenterology and hepatology

We will be bringing back popular features such as the EndoVillage, Monday Masterclass and Meet the Experts breakfast sessions. We will also be launching a number of exciting new initiatives such as symposia on Sustainability and green endoscopy, “How to avoid burnout”, and Mentoring. We are also very excited to be joined by keynote speakers Prof Andrew Goddard (President, RCP), Prof Dame Helen Stokes-Lampard (Academy of Medical Royal Colleges), Prof Yvonne Doyle (England Medical Director for Public Health NHSE&I), and Prof Axel Dignass (UEG).

I encourage you to explore the BSG Live conference programme which has something for everyone and truly covers the breadth of our speciality.

After two years like no other, we would be delighted to welcome you to BSG Live in June and hope you will join us as we come together to make this the very best BSG Annual Meeting yet.

Prof Adrian Stanley
BSG Senior Secretary
