BMJ Open Gastroenterology: Call for Editors

Updated on: 20 Sep 2020   First published on 20 Aug 2020

Author:  Prof Mark Beattie

I take up my post as Editor in Chief from September 2020.

I am very excited to take on this role and look forward to working with the readers, researchers, authors, editors and the BSG and BMJ to help deliver this top-quality publication.

I am indebted to my predecessor Professor Joe Lim for his hard work developing the journal over the last 10 years.

I am looking to appoint 2 new associate editors to join the existing team. The role will involve promoting the journal, working with authors, handling and reviewing submissions, and being part of the team to develop the strategy and future direction of the journal.

Applications should be by brief CV including detail of previous experience (not essential) and what you feel you can offer the journal. Applications to Professor R Mark Beattie, mark.beattie@uhs.nhs.uk.

Please contact me by E-Mail if you would like to discuss the role further.

Closing date 10/09/2020
