This training weekend will cover the basic pathophysiology and treatment of the functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGIDs). This training will be complemented by break-out sessions covering the indications and basic interpretation of motility testing as well as a perspectives session covering the view point of patients, GPs, hypnotherapists and dieticians. Trainees will be invited to submit abstracts of difficult cases which they will be able to present to an expert panel for discussion. The weekend will be free of charge for trainees to attend (including travel and accommodation). It is anticipated that 25-30 places will be offered. To register, contact Dr Adam Farmer at neurogastro@mac.com and explain in 100 words or less why you should be offered a place on the course.
