The BSG has exciting opportunities available for those who wish to increase their commitment to the work of the Society. We’re currently advertising for the below officer roles:

BSG Deputy Vice President Endoscopy (2021-2024)

Applications are now open for the role of BSG Deputy Vice President Endoscopy from June 2021 until June 2022 working with Dr Ian Penman, VP Endoscopy. The Deputy VP will go on to become the Vice President from June 2022 – June 2024. The Vice President is a member of BSG Executive and Council, and a Trustee in their second year of tenure.

This is a principal leadership role leading on all matters relating to Endoscopy (policy, clinical service, research, education, and training) on behalf of the BSG. For informal discussions and questions about the role, please email [email protected].

BSG Deputy Chair Research (2021-2024)

Applications are now open for the role of BSG Deputy Chair Research from June 2021 until June 2022 working with Prof Ramesh Arasaradnam, Research Chair. The Deputy Chair will go on to become the Chair from June 2022 – June 2024. The Research Chair is a member of BSG Executive and Council.

This is a principal leadership role leading on all matters relating to Research on behalf of the BSG. For informal discussions and questions about the role, please email [email protected].

BSG Deputy Chair Education (2021-2025)

Applications are now open for the role of BSG Deputy Chair Education from June 2021 until June 2023 working with the newly appointed Education Chair. The Deputy Chair will go on to become the Chair from June 2023 – June 2025. The Education Chair is a member of BSG Executive and Council.

BSG Mentoring Lead (2021-2023)

Applications are now open for the role of Mentoring Lead developing and leading the BSG Mentorship programme.

This is an exciting role within the BSG at a time when mentorship is extremely important for our members. We welcome applicants from Consultants, nurses (or similar), and trainees (all applicants must be a member of the BSG).
