The BSG Education Committee invites BSG members (nurses, scientists, and other associate BSG members in any area of gastroenterology as well as medical trainees) to apply for 8 travel bursaries to attend the BSG Annual Meeting. Of the 8, 4 are available to medical trainees and the other 4 to the other membership types. Each bursary of up to £500 is funded by the BSG and is intended to reimburse the costs of registration, travel and/or accommodation. Other costs (meals, poster preparation, visas etc.) will not be supported.
Successful applicants: bursaries will be paid after the relevant meeting on submission of your expense claim and a brief report outlining what you felt was most valuable about attending the conference, what you enjoyed the most, and what you learned that you could bring back to your daily work.
Applications must be completed using the online form. No other applications will be considered.
