BMJ Open Gastroenterology Award

The BMJ Open Gastroenterology Award will honour the best clinical science abstract for oral presentation. Abstracts will be published by the BMJ, in a supplement to Gut, along with all the other accepted abstracts.

The top 10 abstracts by score are sent to the Editor of BMJ. Abstracts cannot win more than one of the 3 journal Prizes for their top 3 nominations ahead of the abstracts meeting.

The winner will receive £200 as a reward, and the award will be presented during the research-focused Plenary session at the BSG Annual Meeting.

FAQs

The top 10 abstracts by score are sent to the Editor of the journal. Please note that abstracts cannot win more than one of the three journal prizes. The winner is chosen by the Editor of Open Gastroenterology (OG). The decision is then supported by the BSG Senior Secretary.
