Voting Eligibility

Elected Council – all BSG members except Taster members are eligible to vote for Elected Council

Section Committee – all BSG members except Taster members who are a member of the section can vote. Members can belong to up to 5 sections, which is determined by your chosen “Professional Interests”. You can check your “Professional Interests” here: My BSG Profile

Regional Representatives – all BSG members except Taster members who practice in that region are eligible to vote.

Please ensure you only vote in contests you are eligible for.

  • Endoscopy Trainee Committee Member – 1 role
  • IBD Committee Member – 6 roles
  • Pancreas Committee Member – 3 roles
  • Pancreas Trainee Committee Member – 1 role

Regional Representative Nominations

Trainee Section Regional Representatives

The following roles had 1 nomination, and will not proceed to election.

  • North West
  • West of Scotland

BSG Trainee members have been sent their Unique Voting Code and instructions to vote.

Clinical Research Groups (CRGs) have been formed covering Endoscopy, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Food & Function, and Liver. Their aim is to increase the quality and quantity of clinical GI and liver research in the UK.
