Applications are now open for the role of BSG President Elect from June 2022 until June 2024. The President Elect will go on to become the President from June 2024 – June 2026. This is one of the most prominent roles in the BSG and affords a real opportunity to produce change and to interact with government and other regulatory bodies to set the agenda for gastroenterology and hepatology over the next four years. The role also provides opportunity for the successful candidate to develop new skills including working and interacting with the BSG senior leadership team. It does however require some experience of working with the BSG and has a time commitment. The President is happy to discuss the position with anybody that may be interested.
For informal discussions and questions, please contact Dr Alastair McKinlay at President@bsg.org.uk.
