The Centre for Digestive diseases at Barts and the London School of Medicine, Queen Mary, University of London in collaboration with the UEGF invites applications for its Post Graduate Diploma (Distance Learning) in Gastroenterology. This course is suitable for trainees and consultants already in the field wishing to establish a more theoretical basis of their gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary knowledge but also for those seeking an entry into the field. The course has been approved by the British Society of Gastroenterology Education Committee and provides clinicians with theoretical and clinically applied aspects of their discipline with a focus on the relevant basic sciences and research techniques.
The Centre for Digestive Diseases is one of the largest academic and clinical departments in this field in the UK and includes professors in Clinical Gastroenterology, GI Genetics, GI Paediatrics, GI Surgery, GI Neurogastroenterology, GI Pharmacology and GI Physiology all of whom contribute to the teaching.
