Forthcoming Elections of Trainees to BSG Clinical Sections

Nominations invited for Trainee Committee members on BSG clinical sections

Vacancies have arisen for trainee representatives to sit on the following BSG Clinical Section Committees:

  • Endoscopy
  • Neurogastroenterology & Motility
  • Oesophageal
  • Pancreas
  • Pathology
  • Small Bowel And Nutrition

The Trainees Section is very pleased to have negotiated this fantastic opportunity, enabling more trainees to become involved with the BSG and give trainees a voice at a national level. I urge you to see this as a great privilege and to apply for these vacant positions. In addition to the more well known sub-specialty areas, there are also sections such as Pathology. You do not need to be a pathologist to apply for this position, we are looking for clinical trainees who simply have an interest in pathology, and can add the trainee perspective to the section's work.

Trainees can belong to two clinical sections from the following list in addition to the Trainees Section:

  • Adolescent & Young Persons
  • BSG Endoscopy
  • Colorectal
  • Gastroduodenal
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Liver
  • Neurogastroenterology & Motility
  • Oesophageal Section
  • Pancreas
  • Pathology
  • Radiology
  • Small Bowel & Nutrition

e.g. IBD, Endoscopy.
