New funding opportunity within the EME programme
Monday, 13 January 2014 15:29
The EME Programme is accepting applications to its commissioned workstream for stratified medicine in non-cancerous conditions. The call closes on 3 June 2014. Anyone interested can register for a webinar on 25 March 2014 to learn more about the call. Further information about the EME programme remit, the commissioning brief and tips for making a successful application are available from the EME website. NETSCC strongly advises that potential applicants collaborate and plan - successful EME applications generally involve strong collaborations between an academic unit and/or NHS organisation and/or industry. Build a strong team and start to prepare your bid using your combined expertise.
You can also develop new partnerships by attending a stratified medicine event co-hosted by the EME Programme and the NIHR Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI) on Tuesday 1 April 2014 in central London. At this event, you will
learn from people in industry about their experience working with the NHS and researchers
hear researcher perspectives on partnering to take advantage of EME research funding awards
meet with potential partners to establish collaborations and take your funding application forward.
More information will be available later this month.
