Tuesday, 10 December 2013 14:20
Nick Croft, Julian Thomas, Nikhil Thapar (UK Members of the PEDDCReN Steering Group) and Varsha Tailor (PEDDCReN Project Manager) invite you to participate in a 5-minute survey that will allow the project team to identify the interests of the departments across Europe, in order to determine what expertise and resources are available for setting up and running clinical trials in this speciality. For further details and access to the survey itself, please click here.
Many of you may be aware of this exciting initiative to develop a Paediatric Digestive Diseases Clinical Research Network (PEDDCReN) across all of Europe. The UK (along with Ireland and the Netherlands) are leading this project in collaboration with the European Medicines Agency and ESPGHAN and supported by the UEG, please see the attachment for more details. For those lucky enough to attend you will hear more of this at the ESPGHAN meeting in 2014. We hope you and your department will be interested in participating in this project.
We would be grateful if you would take 5 minutes of your time and complete the survey via the link below on behalf of your institution, only one person should complete the form so please liaise with your colleagues. This is being sent out in the UK as the first trial of the survey so prompt responses would be helpful in case changes are needed, we would also like to be able to present some of the responses at the BSPGHAN meeting in January. Over the next 2 months this will be sent across all of Europe.
The survey will allow the project team to identify the interests of the departments across Europe in order to determine what expertise and what resources are available for setting up and running clinical trials in this speciality. You may open the survey in your web browser by clicking the link below:

Only your name, email address and location will ever be passed on by the project team if you agree in the survey. This might be to investigators proposing multicentre studies, or might be industry looking for key contacts in countries. We will not pass on any other of the data you input directly to industry or investigators without your permission.
