The 9th International Gastric Cancer Congress (IGCC 2011), hosted by the Korean Gastric Cancer Association (KGCA), and under the auspices of International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA), will be held in Seoul, Korea from 20th to 23rd April 2011.

As the most authoritative scientific congress in the field of gastric cancer, IGCC has been held every two years, and this is the second time the congress has been hosted in Korea since the 3rd IGCC in 1999.

Under the theme "A Gate to the Future Gastric Cancer Treatment," about 2,000 participants from around the world will discuss up-to-date knowledge, recent research results and technological advances in the broad areas of gastric cancer and its treatment. In addition, we plan to have more than 700 oral and poster presentations.

During the congress, various scientific programs including pre-congress course, workshops, video-live demonstrations, and satellite symposiums will be organized along with plenary and invited lectures. Furthermore, participants will have a great networking opportunity with internationally prominent scholars, specialists and researchers through diverse social activities.
