Places are limited to 125 with bookings accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

It will commemorate 100 years since the discovery of the condition by Dr Alexander Kinnier Wilson in 1912 when he published his paper in the medical journal Brain: Progressive lenticular degeneration: a familial nervous disease associated with cirrhosis of the liver.

Aimed at clinicians and scientists professionals from hepatology, gastroenterology, neurology, psychiatry, haematology, cell biology and molecular genetics.

An international cast of expert speakers has been drawn from across Europe, North America India and the UK.

Presentations will review the clinical features and algorithms for the diagnosis of Wilson’s disease, as well as the current best practice for its treatment.

Experts in cellular and molecular biology will present the latest research on copper handling in Wilson’s disease, the relationship between ATP7B genotype and clinical disease, and experimental approaches being studied to correct the metabolic defect.

Bookings are being accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
