Neurogastroenterology and Motility Disorders Course
The study and management of children suffering from gastrointestinal motility disorders remains a major challenge both in terms of complexity and magnitude. The last few years, however, have heralded tremendous progress in the understanding of the pathophysiology, investigation and treatment of such diseases.
The APG Neurogastroenterology and Motility Disorders courses are led by key specialists in the field and aim to cover both basic and specialist aspects of investigation and management of these diseases. The content is designed to address common disorders (gastro-oesophageal reflux, constipation, functional abdominal pain) as well as those that are rarer and/or more complex (e.g. Achalasia, Hirschsprung’s disease, intestinal pseudo-obstruction).
