EURO-NOTES2010 is the fourth joint meeting of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) on Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES) and will take place from 9th to 11th September 2010 in Rome, Italy.

Gastroenterologists and surgeons from throughout Europe who are currently actively pursuing NOTES-research, together with participants from the biomedical industry will meet to discuss and debate the challenges and obstacles of implementing Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery into clinical practice. Live demonstrations and hands-on training will for the first time enhance the workshop.

Live demonstration sessions will take place on Friday. On Saturday, delegates may take part in the hands-on training on biologic models and simulators. The capacity for participation at these sessions is limited and requires registration. Different simulator models are available for training of various NOTES-techniques.

EURO-NOTES 2010 is designed as a working conference on NOTES. Delegates are greatly encouraged to register in "teams" composed of a surgeon and a gastroenterologist.
