The invitation to attend this meeting is extended to all multidisciplinary members of hospital teams in the North West working with IBD patients. A registration form to attend can be found here.

There will be a buffet lunch on arrival from 12 – 1pm with the meeting proper to follow between 1 and 4pm

Topics for presentation and discussion to include:

• Presentation and discussion of the main results of the 2008 UK IBD Audit with an emphasis on the combined hospital results for your region.

• National IBD Service Standards – overview and next steps towards implementation.

• Presentation and discussion on the future continuation of the IBD Audit following the decision by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership to include the audit in the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP)

Whilst there will also be a specific meeting on Thursday 25^th June at the Royal College of Physicians of London from 2 to 5pm to discuss the results of the paediatric element of the 2008 UK IBD Audit, staff working at the specialist paediatric gastroenterology sites in the North West that participated in the audit are very welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting in Haydock.
