BNF conference - Probiotics and Health - Summing up the Evidence

The Foundation is holding a conference on probiotics to accompany the publication of a BNF review in the Nutrition Bulletin on the health benefits of probiotics. This conference features high profile national and international speakers and will cover a broad range of health issues in relation to consumption of probiotics, including gut flora and health, acute and antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and allergies. Safety of, and health claims for, probiotics will also be addressed.
