15th Advanced Gastroenterology & Hepatology Course

This well established 2 day course now in its 15th meeting, attracts trainees and consultants from around the UK and Europe. It is designed to cover important and 'hot' topics and will have experts speaking in their fields. The course will highlight some of the new advances in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver disease.

Day 1 - includes particular emphasis on the investigation and management of common problems in gastroenterology including: biological therapy and laparoscopic surgery in inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, colon polyps and pancreatic cysts.

Day 2 - will cover alcoholic liver disease, baveno v, liver transplantation iin the MELD era and non invasive markers of liver disease with other toics included in the day.

Overall, this will be an opportunity to update upon the latest evidence base for management and treatment of these conditions.
