Management of GI Consequences of Cancer Treatment (on-line)
Do you face the challenge of managing patients experiencing GI side effects following radiotherapy? This on-line module will enable you to assess and manage symptoms more effectively and improve the support and care you give to patients.
This innovative module has been developed in association with Dr. Jervoise Andreyev and the Gastrointestinal and Nutrition Team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
This module is targeted at health care professionals who are directly involved in the treatment and management of complex treatment-induced late GI side effects, often as a result of pelvic radiotherapy. The module will introduce participants to a tool/algorithm that can assist in the diagnosis, management and care of this specific patient group. Students will have regular communication with expert online tutors along with interaction between other course participants, allowing networking opportunities with colleagues working in this field.
On-line activities released weekly from 10 September to 4 November 2014. (Please note this module has been postponed from May 2014).
