Peter Cotton Advanced Endoscopy Travel Scholarships

Through the generosity of some of Dr Cotton's past trainees, some prior patients, and the proceeds of his book "The Tunnel at the End of the Light: my endoscopic journey in six decades", funds are available to support a limited number of Advanced Endoscopy Travel scholarships each year.
The grants are intended for post-graduate gastroenterologists (aged <40) from any country, to spend 2 weeks observing at the Digestive Disease Center at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC, USA. There will be no "hands-on" activity.
Grants of $2,500 will be awarded to successful North American applicants, and $4000 to Internationals.

Application should be made on the attached form; the deadline is January 1st 2014. They will be reviewed by a committee based at MUSC, and successful applicants notified within a month.
