BASL Annual Meeting

Join BASL at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead for their Annual Meeting 2014, which will bring together clinicians, nurses, scientists and all those interested in liver disease.

This year, the plenary sessions are devoted to Viral Hepatitis, Drug induced liver injury, Non alcoholic fatty liver disease, Cirrhosis and Transplantation. There is also an update session on Haemochromatosis, Wilson's disease and alpha 1 antitrypsin and an overview of the Best of British Research. For the first time they have a formal CPC with a distinguished faculty of experts. Highlights of the BASL Annual Meeting include the three key note lectures, The Ralph Wright Lecture, The British Liver Trust Lecture and the Williams-Calne Lecture and also the Dame Sheila Sherlock Prize Lecture.

On Day 2 the BASL Nurse Forum Annual Meeting will be held in parallel which follows its own programme of fourteen speakers and the QiC Awards. Lastly, on Thursday 18th September BASL launches the first British Liver Transplant Group meeting (BLTG) which BASL delegates can attend free of charge.
