The SAGE Awards seek to recognise innovations to improve patient care. Sponsored by Shire, the Shire Awards for Gastrointestinal Excellence are inviting applications from teams who have introduced a new initiative that has improved patient care. The Awards will give national recognition to projects, highlight excellent practice and give a financial boost for teams to continue the innovation. Three awards will be made for £10,000, £5,000 and £3,000 for the inovations judged as the top three. An independent panel will make a shortlist from applications and the awards will be made at a dinner during the DDF in June 2012.
