From April 2012, NHS and Foundation Trusts providing services related to the bowel cancer and oesophageal cancer audits will be required to contribute to their costs. These two NCAs are among nine for which subscriptions will be collected by HQIP in the second quarter of 2012/13. Each NHS provider organisation will pay £2.1k for bowel cancer NCA services and £2.7k for oesophageal cancer NCA services.
HQIP, who manage and commission audits through the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme, will write to NHS providers in the first quarter of 2012/13 with further information about how the process will work.
