  • New BSG website coming soon!

The BSG will be launching its new website on 5th December 2017 with a new membership portal following early in the New year. We need a new website to better communicate with our members, associates and the public on all matters gastroenterological: sharing our clinical guidelines, patient information, latest news and generating debate on key issues in health policy.

The site will offer members improved accessibility of content and enhanced search functionality based on a defined information architecture. Members will be able to use search and filter functions to organise content by membership type, sub-specialty interest and the geographical region in which they practise.

We hope you like the fresh new look to the website and the improved navigation that will allow you to find the information you need more quickly and easily whether using a desktop, mobile device or tablet.

    BSG Annual Report 2016

We are delighted to present the 2015-2016 BSG Annual Review – the first we have published for some five years – as an illustration of the range of activities that the Society undertakes on your behalf. It has always seemed to us that one of the greatest attractions of gastroenterology as a specialty is its sheer breadth. Some of what we do will be familiar but certainly one of our aims is to showcase some of the less well-known areas of our activity.
